Netmore receive order of local 4G network to Crane Currency

In cooperation with G6 Global in the UK, Netmore Group AB (publ) received an order for a local 4G network and associated services for Crane Currency at their plant in Tumba, south of Stockholm. The local 4G network will be used to ensure good coverage throughout the facility with the highest level of security and reliability. The services provided will also include subscriptions for usage in public networks around the world to combine the benefits of reliable local coverage with the convenience and flexibility to also use the public networks.

“We are deploying the network from Netmore to modernize our security communications infrastructure at one of our key sites, and will potentially implement at our other sites as a cost-effective way to build a secure global platform across this critical network” – says David Llewellyn, Senior Manager – Security and Resilience at Crane Currancy.

“Demand for local mobile networks is increasing in the industrial segment as well as in the security sector when companies want to secure production-critical processes and want to secure that data and communications can be controlled end to end” -says Andrew Clark, Managing Director at G6 Global.

Netmore’s investment in local networks and IoT is creating a ripple effect. Regardless of technology, 3GPP, LoRaWAN or NBIoT, interest is great. Thanks to extensive knowledge in connectivity and data management, Netmore is a strong market player. The estimated order value is approximately 50 000 Euro. Crane Currency in Stockholm is piloting the establishment of local secure cellular networks within the organization and expects to develop the concept for global rollout.

An increasing number of companies are interested in using local mobile networks to increase efficiency and at the same time benefit from guaranteed capacity, reliability and security” -says Erik Hallberg, CEO of Netmore Group AB.
