Netmore strikes deal with cosinuss° to provide SIM-cards to monitor Covid-19 in the framework of a key study
Netmore Group AB (publ), global IoT operator, strikes deal with German medical technology company Cosinuss Gmbh for 500 of its M2M SIM-cards. The SIM-cards will be installed in cosinuss° LabGateways, which are connected with in-ear sensors used to monitor low and medium risk patients of Covid-19, in the framework of a key study of patients who are in home isolation. The deal marks Netmore M2M’s entry into the medtech field.
”We are very happy to enter the growing medtech and wellness sector, and particularly proud to help cosinuss° in the fight against Covid-19. The initial order of 500 SIM-cards is a good start and we now look forward to a great product launch which will enable the possibility of more orders in the future,” says Erik Hallberg, CEO of Netmore Group AB.
Netmore’s SIM-cards will be used in cosinuss° LabGateways, which are connected with in-ear sensors for the purpose of monitoring low and medium risk groups of Covid-19 who are in home isolation. Key parameters monitored are body temperature, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and respiration rate. The goal of this first-in-class study, using this type of monitoring system, is to reduce mortality rate and to make a pandemic outbreak more manageable by keeping up a functioning healthcare system. The initial order is of 500 of Netmore’s SIM-cards, where each system will require one SIM-card.
