In this new position, Vadim will lead the development, delivery, and global growth of Netmore’s smart water metering solutions, ensuring consistency across markets, strengthening ecosystem partnerships, and supporting utilities worldwide in their digital transformation journey.
With recent advancements in wireless metering, network operators like Netmore now play a central role in water utility infrastructure projects. The scale and complexity of these initiatives demand a certain level of expertise and commitment, which Netmore has made a core focus of its business. As Netmore expands its global water utility focus, key responsibilities within this practice area include:
- Strategy and leadership, ensuring consistency and scalability across regions and customer segments
- Expertise and competence development, leading knowledge sharing and subject matter expertise
- Ecosystem and partner management, building and managing strategic relationships across the ecosystem
- Customer and market engagement in existing and new geographical markets, supporting commercial strategy and industry initiatives
- Regulatory and standards leadership, engaging in regulatory developments and standardisation efforts
- Data, analytics and reporting, defining and driving data strategies for smart metering

This appointment follows several wins in the water utility sector for Netmore and for Lyu as Country Manager for Netmore UK, including:
- Severn Trent: 1 million water meters under the AMP8 regulatory framework
- Yorkshire Water: 1.3 million water meter exchange running concurrent with prior 360,000 meter provisioning contract under Yorkshire Water’s smart metering program
- Yorkshire Water and Detectronic: 90,000 sewer monitors across Yorkshire Water’s wastewater network as part of a major sewer network telemetry program
- South West Water: 76,000 water meters as part of South West Water’s Green Recovery Initiative
